christmas day

We spent Christmas morning at Grandma and Grandpa Scotts.

We had breakfast and played with all the new toys.

We got to talk to Corbin who is still on his mission in Panama.

Grandma and Grandpa Scott got Rockband.

Blake enjoyed her new book.

She also enjoyed her new baby doll,

and enjoyed even more her baby dolls bottle.

We spent Christmas afternoon, at Bret and MJ's. Blakelynn

and Darci played tea. We had a delicious meal, and

got to hang out and check out all the new toys.

2009 has been a busy year for us.

We started the year off by morning the loss of a little nephew.

Thor Gage Scott died in December of 2008.

Brett, Blakelynn and I moved out of wymount into a basement apartment

of a lovely older couple.

Brett has been working hard in school. He has done alot internship wise.

He coached a 11-12 year old boys basketball team, and enjoyed every moment of it.

He got an internship with Salem City and got to help with the flag

football teams. He also got paid for half his time there so it was like a

second job for him which was lovely. He continues his job with Absolute Air. He

has two semesters and an internship left. I keep telling him to get an internship in

Florida at Disney World, like I have seen alot of others in his major do. Then

we could live in Florida for a while and I could go to Disney World. ;)

I found out I was pregnant in April. It was not at that moment one of the happiest

pieces of news. I was due December 10th. It was alot easier pregnancy then Blake's

was. I was able to exercise and stay on top of things. I lost my job at

Emergency Essentials about a month after I found out I was pregnant. I found

another job luckily a month after I lost my first. I worked at a gas station here in

Salem called Fast Gas. It was within walking distance of home, which made

it so much easier. I later found out we were having a little boy. His name was to be

Matthew Gerald Pingel. We were very excited to add another special spirit to our family.

My plan was to quit a month before Matthew was born but some health issues

caused it to be a bit earlier. But that's ok we were all

good and healthy. Matthew was born on December 7th 2009 at 7:51 am.

He weighed 6lb 15oz. All of us healthy and safe.

Blakelynn turned 1 this year. She had her first birthday on July 22nd. We took

her to the zoo and had a BBQ for her after wards. She enjoyed her cake. She

also got to go to the Spanish Fork Rodeo. She liked the clown and the sweets.

she has really been the best older sister I could ask for. She plays with her baby brother,

cares for him and loves him very much.

Our year has had its ups and downs. Before the end of the year we lost two

more family members. My beautiful sister in law Kim Scott, the mother

of Thor. She died of a broken heart. And my great Grandma Dixie Young of

old age. We love them all. In the end we know the Lord loves us and he is watching out for

us all and in every way. Thank you family and friends for all you do. We love you

all and we love The Lord.

updates

Matthew had his first doctors appointment yesterday.

He now weighs 6lbs 11oz. So he is gaining back

what he lost in the hospital. Everything else looked great.

Blake loves to kiss her brother and make sure he is ok

when he is crying and upset.

Blakelynn LOVES to help her little brother out.

6 lbs 15 ounces

20 inches long

In his going home outfit. Non of it fit.
Here he weighs 6 lbs 6 ounces.
He gained from the loss down to 5lbs 15 ounces.


Blakelynn is holding him.
She was sooooo excited. She kept pointing
at him and kissing him. She tried to say
matt and matthew. She is
going to be an excellent older sister.

At the park

Blakelynn loved the slide.Dad tried to show her the monkey bars.

She could not really figure it out.

We had alot of fun on the slides. She thought the way you

went down was the way you went up.

Brett played Santa at the ward christmas party. It was

great to see him in the costume. He said he could

never be a fat man for how much he sweat. When it was

Blakelynns turn she flipped out. She was not

happy about sitting on his lap. For obvious reasons.

what a morning

Took my brother to the doctor today. And in the meantime blakelynn was busy playing on the little steps. She gets down the bottom one and falls over backwards.

So I pick her up and hug her and she cries. Well she breathes in between crying but then she she just slumps forward and stops making any noise. About 5-10 seconds later she wakes back up and stares around. I made her look at me and then a second later she starts crying again. She was white for about 20 minutes and then slightly back to normal.

So to the doctor she went. Her vitals where fine and she checked all normal. We have to watch her for the rest of the day to make sure she is not off at all. And wake her every 3-4 hours tonight to make sure she is aware.
